As of April 1, 2016, we’ve officially been here for one year! I didn’t expect that the year would fly by so quickly. I know we’ll look back on this year and want to remember all of the important, or at least interesting, things that have happened.

Happy 2016, everyone! Because they celebrate January 1st and the lunar new year, it’s hard to tell which day is more important. What I do know is that there is a nice, week-long break for everyone in February. Woohoo!
One thing people who move overseas don’t initially anticipate is how your brain is split into two timelines. You have a timeline for what is going on back at home and a timeline of what you are doing here. It kind of helps explain why time seems to go by so slowly.
