This sounds like a weird title for a Thanksgiving post, but my study in the book of James has helped me to understand a little bit more about what it means to be thankful.

Sometimes when I’m in the thick of living life, it becomes easy to go on autopilot. My mind and my heart become consumed with the routine, so much so, that I don’t recognize anything has changed.
Even though I don’t enjoy shopping, I love finding deals and discounts online. My frugal nature delights in finding good quality items for less than what I would be willing to pay. There are tons of items here that aren’t worth the little you would pay, but there are other great value finds that I would recommend to friends.
With July already here, I was personally excited for the change in season. Not necessarily the literal season (I know everyone in Southern California is burning up right now. We feel your pain here as well), but a change of pace. With my teaching classes now complete, I am looking forward to the month of July to accomplish a lot of things on my “When I have time, I’ll do them” list. I’ll share some of those things here:
Our fellowship recently added a Japanese service to their already growing list of services on Sundays. We had been meaning to visit for some time, but could not manage to find a Sunday when the timing worked out.
