Daddy & Me

Yesterday I was afforded some time with Haddon since Jen had a meeting and Chinese class in the afternoon. I did some research and found an indoor playground. I’ve been to indoor playgrounds so I wanted to explore and find another place for Haddon to play, aptly named Fundazzle. After lunch, Haddon and I began our Daddy & Me time.

Settling In (Pt. 1)

Settling in has introduced interesting challenges. The following is meant to create a realistic picture of our experience here and not to complain or compare by any means (although I’ve done plenty of both, sad to say). Thoughts from a Family Moving Overseas (Pt. 1)

In thinking about this major move for our family, I picture a bunch of plates spinning on poles and I’m frantically spinning each plate so that they won’t fall off the poles. In calculating our move overseas, it just seems like there are a lot of moving parts, but nothing to slow them down until we actually arrive. too-many-plates-in-the-air_4375697_GIFSoup.com
