Some time ago I shared about the struggles of parenting a toddler. While those struggles are still very real, I’ve been reflecting recently on the many blessings afforded to me through motherhood.

Our family had the opportunity to take our first, official vacation this past month. We decided to travel out to Hong Kong and fully explore the sights and flavors; something we didn’t really get to do on our previous visits there.
Parenting a toddler has been the greatest challenge in my adult life. I’ve never felt more desperate, helpless, frustrated, defeated, and utterly confused all at the same time.
Distance has been something I’ve observed more while living here. The distance from our home to the subway. The distance (or lack of distance) between me and the smelly passenger next to me. The distance from our bedroom to the bathroom; a trek that’s seemingly insignificant to most people, but very familiar to pregnant women.
As mentioned in an earlier post, we moved … again! This has become a norm in our lives. It’s gotten slightly easier to pack up our belongings and adjust to a new environment, but still not easy enough to where we would want to do this regularly (or ever again).
